One wk had passed, and yeah things are still okay. Glad tt i had gone tru NPP hence i still can cope with things now =) Shall not spent time writing about the subjects tt im taking, bascially its still pretty enjoyable.

ANW, I WANNA FIND JOB! I WANNA WORK AND EARN MONEYYYY. ><
At least i can pay part of my transport fees and meals in school.. using my OWN money.

I wanna teach tuition & piano. anyone interested? LOLLL.

okay anw i went for Lifeguard Corps orientation last wk and its fun =) sadly, i broke my specs ahghghghg. getting my new one tmr. damn cool, it can be bent 180 deg! ;p

alrites,im gonna sleep soon. wonder why am i so tired these days. and i have no idea wassup with my moodswings.. i tink i might have some psychological probs as in i asked myself wad happen to me. :S

Hello ppl, its officially the first day of school for polys.
And i just got home, its 1015pm fyi :S

Started off my day with the software topup. Thank goodness i alrdy have MS 07 and Antivirus. If not i tink i’ll needa wait freaking long. great accompaniments though ; Shaun and Melvin. ha entertaining i shld say.

Lunched and walk ard the CCA fiesta with Sy, Yiling & Bernard. Mans, so many things i wanna join but cant.. ><
Anw i wrote my name for X-Venture. i tink its really cool becos they got a race tt includes EVERYTHING tt i like ; swimming,running,cycling,kayaking.. blah blah etc! COOL.

Went of the my first lecture at LT 24, IT Biz.. Gawd, boring.
At least Micro Econs was much better… omg, i feel so “smart” cos i manage to understnd the FIRSt econ lesson in mylife. LOL. cool though.

Had lifesaving training at 6 aftr tt.. And we are training for Bronze Medallion. gotta hit timings!
i tink we swam 20 laps of more today… no breaststroke, i tink i shld focus on freestyle cos its much faster for me.
so yeah, freestyle and lifesaving sidestroke.

Tink i gotta swim more than ever now. HIT THE TIMINGS! ><

And…. left school abt 9 aftr all the admin stuff etc. and i reach home at freaking 1015.
AND I DIDNT HAD MY DINNER! only one pathetic sandwich bfore training -.-

Luckily tmr’s lesson at 1pm (cos no tutorial).

Gah but i tink i shld go for morning run.. stamina staminaaaaa.

Direction.

I decided to blog about my piano lesson.. becos i had so much in mind.

Every time during my piano lesson, i’ll just get more and more add ons like the dynamics and decorations etc.
And im really grateful for that. Becos i know i wldnt be able to learn these much if the teacher was my previous teachers..
Its always so amazing to see the instant effect of applying a certain technique, or just a simple tip on playing.
Its like ‘ whoa’ inside me.

And now, i understnd the difficult part of Fugue. Tts why i dropped the first piece tt i was supposed to play.

Let me make daring statement ; the piece is not difficult.
Its the holding parts… the decorations.. the dynamics.. the FLOW that make it much harder. Interpreting it differently as wad i should be doing. At least now, i sorta get the hang of it =)
& i realise my rhythm is really bad, tone deaf? (i duno). i practised with metronome.. but ya, its still like this.
Perhaps i shld practise MORE than wad ive been doing (which is not alot).

I really want to do my best.

Then i realised what kept me going when i practised for 4/5 hrs today..
That is; i dont wan to disappoint anyone ever again, and that includes Myself.
I dont wana feel upset when i go into the exam room.. worrying.
I wan to feel confident and enjoy the music as well as the whole process.
And all i want to be is, Happy and satisfied =)

I SHALL WORK HARD!!

Haha, i love this song alot. like, whooo the tune is awesome.
Aftr 4 hrs on my piano…. i decided to take out Richard Clayderman’s scores. And i replayed the piece i played for my first concert a few yrs back. And a whole new feeling surged into me; a totally different one as compared to a few yrs back..
i dont noe how shld i put it, its just a feeling tt is….  a lil more mature?
Perhaps now i have a deeper understnding of the piece? lol.

Then i flipped open the “SECRET” scores  and theres this piece titled 情人的眼泪.
Its a chinese oldies/classic & i totally love the tune. haha, and did i mentioned tt i find oldies pretty nice?

Gonna have piano lesson later at 7.

I needa tune my piano. hahhahaha, it has not been tuned since we bought it like 6-7 yrs back :S And im amazed that the piano is still in pretty good shape now. Basically its not really out of tune, just tt its abit er.. loose >< (if u get wad i meant).

oh btw, i went to watch ‘ 17 again’ with crystal and my sis ytd. and i saw Jingyin and Yiling! =)
That movie was great =) At least i find it funny and touching =)

Ytd was awesome becos we had Smashing Rock 1 outing. And i actually watched a horror movie ‘ Unborn ‘ that was pretty stupid. why? the movie made me laugh instead -.-

Kay, anw i had a great time. look forward to seeing them in sch!

Today was equally awesome becos i spent the day with myself =)
haha! I always find that going out alone is a self luxury; totally. A good haircut and redyed hair to start off my day =)

Whenever im out alone, i’ll tend to think alot (not anyhow) but about my life.
Ha, and a stupid thing came across my mind.. which i wont state down here cos u’ll laugh for sure ><

I just find that i enjoy doing wad i wan to do. even if there’s no one accompanying me. ( im thankful for tt).
I enjoy time alone. Its totally awesome. Dont call me a saddist, ure totally wrong. Cos, i am me myself that has my own way of life and my personal set of beliefs=)

Anw, i though bcomm is gone for GOOD. but, they replaced it with Business Law. omgggg. ):
tts like in the module 1.2 and not 1.1 >< afterwhich i start logging into mel and they have my modules up alrdy..
So i went to click, like download the first lecture notes.. DEN when i saw micro econs, i almost fainted. LOL.

I have no idea now im not THAT anticipating sch starts :S HAHA

A post filled with gratitude and love.

She may be someone that i never really talked to as much as a good friend, yet without her i wouldnt be deeply in love with music.

My music studio’s boss passed away a few days back. She was the one that watch me grow from a child to a teenager. She witnessed my music journey; at least from the very beginning till how it is now.  Perhaps i may not be the one that she favoured the most, yet i believe she had showered all her students with countless amount of love; an i am one of them.

Rmb when i first step into the music studio, excited yet afraid. She was the one tt welcomes me with an extremely warm smile and lead me to the piano room. She then told me to press a few keys as a try out, looked at my fingers and said ‘ what long fingers you have.. you’ll play well ‘ . Yes, i vividly rmb wad she said.  Its only between us.

Rmb the time when i was in Grade 3 and my mum was facing some financial problem. Hence, i need to stop learning piano becos i wasnt able to pay the fees. However, she was generous and kind enough to persuade my mum not to stop me from my passion.. and eventually we are given the special grant of delaying the payment of fees. I didnt know about it, i didnt know it was her that told my mum not to forbid me from doing something i like. I only know about it a few years later.. How great she was, how her generosity made a huge impact on my life.

Rmb the time she opened up the recital room to let me practise for the upcoming concert; all alone.. Grand piano yes.
That time was a vivid memory, because i never had a chance to play a grand piano except playing for a concert. Thanks to her, a new sense of motivation and inspiration gushed into me when i was sitting there, playing the grand piano.

Rmb a few yrs back, when i get to play for 2 concerts ; in the recital studio and outside the studio (public). I was so nervous my hand was totally icy cold. Yet her words ‘ dont need to worry, you can do it! just enjoy and play it’. It does made feel much better.. really.

There, she always say ‘ 你可以的’.

Now that i really tink back.. i was wondering how would my years of music learning be without her.
I may not be who i am now. I may not be able to play pieces that i love and enjoy the beauty of music as much as i can now.

Someone that i see almost everywk, had only simple ‘ hi-byes’ or only a short conversation.. Yet, i realised she was someone that made a great impact in me – in a way or another.

I often think that i do not have the music talent.. yes, talent. I always believe that talent plays a part. and im always lacking it. Many are able to express their pieces beautifully, but often i cant.
Now, a new surge of inspiration grew within me. Talent, or wadeva it shld be.. I’ll use that least bit of talent in mine and add on the rest with my hard work and determination.

Your support for the past 6 years is deeply appreciated.

Its another wake up call for me, shaking me up. Reminding me how much music means, how much more i shld be doing than just this. How important it is to not be another letdown..

Had Sports Camp outing at Sentosa on Tues. it was kind boring but still had fun luh =) Freesbies was the best. at least bttr than volleyball becos u only get to hit once or twice aftr a damn long time >< oh, water Heart Attack was fun too! LOL.

i didnt really take pics becos we all placed our bags at the side. and off we go the play. hahahhaa.

and biggest part was DINNER.

Sy wasnt really good at surprise but i really appreciate everyone’s effort! i really didnt noe sooo many of you are coming (cos we all have different schedules). I just wanna say, i had a great night and an unforgettable bday celeb!! I REALLY DO. It was really advanced, but yeah I LOVE IT TTM!!The largest bday celeb i had so far? Yeah! And im really touched tt we can all find time and get together!Eating pratas, chilling, chatting, catching up. its so far the best thing we all can do now =)
